Speeches – too bold of an opening?

I have to give a speech best man and wanted to open with, "Now that she married the boyfriend, I guess that has finally convinced everyone that he is not gay. "I think it's fun, but do not know if humor is appriciated by another guest. What do you think? just to add – I think it's funny because the groom and his friends always joked by playfully humping things, and he has been known for wearing pink shirts. indeed a joke, but I do not know if the guest would be offended since they do not know the background

yeeeah, I think it might be a bit offensive .. maybe not to you and the wedding party (usually young), but some results could be other … I think it's funny, but you have to keep all customers in mind. Maybe you could use that in the bachelor party or rehearsal dinner in which will be smaller, more tight-knit group of people?

I am a woman … invited by my best friend to be his best man …. What are some ideas on how to write a speech for this guy??? My best friend? Hmmmmmm. I have some ideas here is what I came with …. any suggestions???? Firstly thank the groom for his speech, and the father of his girlfriend. We also thank all for coming. Giving up a toast to the couple as parents. And thank them on behalf of the bride and groom. The bride and groom as a couple. What are they like together, etc. The story of his friend, the fun. Real emotion put into this to get the best laughs. What is like, and what it has achieved. The love and life. The bride. What is it and what impact it has had in his life. The PS>>> I Awome!

Only If you ask a. His brother and sister of the future mother get to decide who makes a speech at their wedding. If parents are paying a portion of the expenses of the wedding, which could have a say so in that case (giving speeches) as well.
